Headache that just wont go away

Has anyone else had a headache that just wont go away? I'm into week three of this headache. Panadol does nothing, inhaling steam does nothing, chiro helped for about 24 hours... It's bearable today but some days I'm completely incapacitated.

Had none of this with DS.

I'm also getting some palpitations some times (not out of the ordinary for me, just more frequent - I've got a known heart condition), swollen feet and generally TIRED! My iron was in the toilet at the beginning of the pg, but I've been taking an extra iron supplement. I see the Ob next week and will ask him about all of the above - but wondered if it sounded familiar to anyone?

Have you been to your GP, i'd discuss this and any other 'symptoms' you have, i get quite severe headaches due to eye strain even though i wear glasses constantly.
I also get them if i have not had enough water (my biggest issue when i was PG) or have been in the sun too long.
Lots of things can cause headaches but if it's gone this long i would have a chat with your GP.
    Hope it's gone ASAP.

I agree to go and see the doctor...Sometimes constant headaches, swollen feet can be caused by high blood pressure.

    headaches suck!

    Good luck

It's funny, after I posted that, yesterday I had a good day headache-wise. I will go talk to someone about it though, it's just always there in the background even when I feel ok. I wear glasses all the time too - and thought that might be the problem, except that when it's bad I wake up with the bad headache as well which is weird. I was worried about my BP - especially as normal for me is around 100-110/70.

Just weird - hormonal headaches are usually first trimester, pre-eclampsia is usually third. Thanks for the advice - best to get these things checked out

Well, BP yesterday was 110/70. Nothing to worry about. Ob thinks it's stress related and prescribed massage Oh, and a week without kids - then he laughed and said to do what's possible not what would be ideal. So I shall embrace getting my neck and back sorted out and try to minimise stress - hah hah.

I had headaches that would not go away so often when I was pregnant with DD. I found taking that panadol with caffeine in it (panadol extra?) really helped. It's only as much as a coffee and I didn't drink any coffee or tea, so ok to take, compared with dealing with the endless headache. Normal panadol did nothing, but for some reason that really helped. I also went to an osteopath and they did work on my neck which helped too.
