Veronica, I have only ever had it with Paige and it was terrible. I don't even really remember the way it started, I just noticed that at night when I was in bed my right wrist would ache like the blazes and mainly the 3rd and 4th fingers, but as it got worse it was my whole hand for the last few weeks. I never had any swelling though and it only ever pained me at night, but during the day it would get stiff if I didn't move it for a while.
Liz, maybe they were thinking that if you ended up needing a c/s they would have to cut them off?
Veronica, mine was always like pins and neddles at night and they where also painful during the day. When i was pg with Alexander i wasn't even able to write it was so bad.
I was given braces to help with the pain and it worked well and i only had to use them a couple of times when pg with Eleanor.
