For the past few weeks I have been getting alot of braxton hicks. I started getting them at 16 weeks (same as DD's pregnancy) but this time they are much more frequent and they come on more with exercise. Its gotten to the point where I cant even walk to the letter box without getting one.

I just then went for a walk with DD and I was gone for about 30 minutes, just relaxed walking and it didnt take long before they started coming again. I would have gotten about 8 or so when I was out. It is insane. Going food shopping is a nightmare because of it and by the end Im doubling over the trolley because my belly is that hard and the braxton hicks dont stop until I stop and sit down.

So it got me thinking about what the issue could be. I was wondering if an irritable uterus is an option? If not, what else could it be? I cant seem to do anything (which isnt easy with a toddler) without getting braxton hicks. They arnt painful until ive had a few in a row, then my belly starts to get really sore from being constant hard.
