    Itchy *****ly Skin

    Hi all,

Has anyone ever experienced this during pregnancy? I'm going to ask my OB about it next visit (baby brain and being overwhelmed stopped me asking too many questions the first time)

Seems to happen mostly when i'm hot, so hot showers, hot clothes, hot rooms, my tempreature goes up, I itch and *****le all over. Its infuriating!

My GP says it can also be linked to not clearing bile properly from your body, as I have no gall bladder that might be the case, however heading into winter this is getting depressing.

Hmmm. I'm trying to guess what the *****le is ...

Are you able to use another descriptive word cause for the life of me I cant work out what your talking about...LOL

oh- and are you a diabetic? Some people with diabetes have this problem during pregnancy.

i had really itchy skin in the first trimester. The GP gave me some cream but it did not really help. It was terrible, and happened more at night for me. I thought I had bed bugs but it happened in every bed of the house. I could not sleep it was that bad. Clothes would itch and I would get raised skin all over. Do not know if it was the same as what you are experiencing though. Crying child, must go.

not sure if its the same
but my skin dries out really bad during pregnancy and that causes me to itch i also found my allergies played up more causing itchier skin
but also it could be your skin is stretching which does cause itchiness
but i would get it cheaked out
