Light-headed, nausea, yawning and head aches- low blood pressure or something else?

    Hello!

I'm 17 weeks pregnant and over the last two days I've had these symptoms on and off quite strongly. Pre-pregnancy I occasionally had low blood pressure dips which caused almost fainting and sometimes actual fainting. My last OB check up was last week and my glucose, protein levels etc were fine. My blood pressure was 101 which is a tad low but still normal. This feeling I've been getting is horrible, like I might faint and vomit simultaneously and I always yawn HEAPS and become instantly tired. I also sometimes get a sense that I am going to have bowel movement but have not actually had the runs or 'had' to go. This can all last an hour or more at a time. Is it normal?

Have you had your iron checked? Might be worth getting it done. It could be an iron deficiency.

It's not fun feeling like that. Hope you figure it out soon

While you're getting your iron tested, ask them to test your thyroid function.
Last pregnancy it took them 10 weeks to figure out what my issue was, but symptoms were very similar.

Thyroid and iron - will do. I think my 10 week blood tests included iron though? It was fine then.

iron levels can change, wouldn't hurt to get them checked again along with your thyroid function.
