still plodding along here, bub is doing well and measuring in the 65th percentile when checked just after 32 weeks.
we have an induction date booked in but thats on the proviso that theres a bed for me and a bed for him in NICU
I just had a call from one of the midwives who I see and just found out I have gestational diabete's... the only possible symptom I've had is a bit of bloating around the belly, so it's come completely out of the blue... in a bit of shock at the moment.
thats a bugger hun! look at it this way though, it'll go when bub is born, i have mine forever hope u can keep it controlled just with diet and excersize, if u need any advise or help let me know
Jennajayen - Sorry to hear about the GD, i hope you can manage it with diet alone. GL hun. hugs
Skybie - Hope everything is going well for you and your little man, sounds wonderful that he is at the 65th percentile. not long now for you gorgeous and your little man will be here. Look after yourself hun, praying your bub will do just fine with all he will be going through. Loads of hugs.
Well, my bub arrived on the 21st December and was admitted to NICU 28mins old, due to her sugar levels going too low and required insulin and tube feeds/ She was in NICU for upto 4days, thankfully they were able to bring her down to see me on day 3 and then got to stay with me from day 4. I only saw her for 5mins after she was born then didnt get to see her until a day later which was soooo very hard.
Little Chloe was born 2.375kg at 38wks 4days. She was 43cm long and hc was 33cm. She has had testing done, xrays done, and due to failing her right hearing test she now has to go to Westmead childrens to have further testing fx it all comes back fine.
She is under the care of the same pead as Little V, her next appt is tomorrow. She had a brain scan done and they said that there was an echogenic focus whcih they believe to be nothing. Asked what it meant and they said a possible old heamorrage.
She is such a gorgeous little thing, and seems to be gaining weight nicer than what little v did, and she is so very alert.
When I get a chance i will put some pics up of my newest addition.
Look after yourself ladies and I will keep popping in to see how you are going. Loads of hugs
Haven't been on much lately, trying to get my GD under control at the moment. So far breakfast is sorted out, dinner is half way there and we're now working on lunch time, but any time it's hot or muggy my blood glucose levels go through the roof, so it's a big balancing act.
its not easy hun, have u got a number for an endo on call so u can ring them??
the smallest things set off a high reading, stess being one of them. you'll get there though, lol but once u do everything will need to change again! i cant belive how much insulin om on compared to normal its so crazy!
All going well here, just waiting waiting waiting, 2 weeks today im being induced, wish it would hurry on up, i wanna see my little man!
