I am a huge natural remedy advocate but please be careful. UTIs can spread outside of your bladder and you don't want it going further. Cranberry is more a preventative, it coats the lining of the tract to help stop the bacteria sticking, but its usually too late when you have one. Loads of water to flush it out (put some fresh lemon in it if you can). Ural will help with the tingle of urination but not fix it - just mask symptoms. Avoid foods and drinks which can aggravate urinary tract infections such as alcohol, coffee, soft drinks, vinegar, yeasts, sugar and artificial sweeteners. UTIs are one of those things that I give in to antibiotics, especially when pregnant. You're more prone to them then unfortunately, and yes they can cause premature labour later in pregnancy.
