My MOH has this, she has an OB appt this arvo, and they have recommended for her to have amniotic fluid drained as she has an extremely excessive amount. In her first pregnancy she had the same, her DS was born 8 weeks early (around 5.5 pds), and the condition is a bit worse this time. There are varying degrees of how serious it is, so your OB/Health Professional should be able to give you more info. She also looks like she is ready to pop, but she's not due until Feb.
I'd say you'll be closely monitored to make sure everything is going ok, good luck, and relax as much as possible!

I am the poster girl for polyhydramious. I had it so severly last year when pregnant with my DS that I was hospitalised and had 4 amnio fluid reductions (massive needle and tube sucking fluid away) and over 15 ltrs of fluid removed. They still have no idea why it happened but I was bigger than a woman pregnant with triplets who was also on bed rest!! I am pregnant again and so far so good we dont have the same issue this time around. There are many different degrees of severity and most dont require hospitalisation just close monitoring. Trust the doctors and sonographers as they will tell u if things are going wrong and u need help.
Oh and when I went into pre term labor and had to have a csect the doctors got drenched when they broke my waters and the waters splashed on the floor like someone kicked over a bucket of water (and what did I do when I heard that? I laughed so much they told me to hold still lol)
