I just realised I never came back in after my last appointment. It has been so crazy here with everything, the whole family has been sick with pneumonia *sigh*
Anyways, the last appointment I mentioned above the doc was talking strongly about c-section and epidural, but I went and seen her again since then and let her know how I feel about c-section/epidural and that it is on my list as a last resort. I want to try for waterbirth. The doc says that if things continue the way they are and I don't go into labour before 37 weeks there is no reason why I can't try for a waterbirth.
I have another scan booked for Saturday week (I'll be 36 weeks by my dates) to check fluid levels again and growth. We may look at being induced at 38 weeks.
I have been worried about the swelling in the ankles and the pressure in my belly (it feels like my belly will pop at times)
I have heaps of BH contractions and doc says that is common for ladies with polyhydramnios. DH gets a little wide eyed when they start coming every 15 minutes lol, but they only stay like that for a few hours usually. They have been as close as 5 minutes while being in the car though. They can be quite strong. I don't remember having BH with my previous pregnancies.
Apparently it is also very common to feel all the little aches and pains that most women don't feel generally. Because the belly has a lot more pressure, we are feeling everything. Sometimes the pressure is so great that I have to stop whatever it is that I am doing, just pause for a few moments and wait for it to pass.
