My doc seemed to shrug it off as being pregnant means it can take a long time for it to pass. She just mentioned how everyone has been sick the past few weeks. I dont tend to complain much about sickness.. so maybe I didnt come across strong enough. Ill give her a call tomorrow thanks!

Definitely go back to the doctor... I had an upper respitory infection while pregnant with DD2 and the first doctor I saw told me there was nothing I could take for it... I waited 3 weeks and didn't get better so went and saw my usual doctor who is also an OB and got antibiotics.

The antibiotics you had might not have been the right once hence why you're still ****. hope you feel better soon. And I bet your BP was high due to you being unwell rather than pregnant related like last time. So hopefully your well the next time they take it. Also make sure you have been resting up heaps before they check your BP and not as soon as you walk into an appointment.

    Thanks Em

Doctors verdict... Bronchitis. On another and stronger dose of anti-bitoics and under strict instructions from him to put my feet up and have 3 cups of tea with fresh lemon and honey mixed in a day. lol.

He checked my BP. Hes not concerned at all. It was 129/85 (142/80 last week). He said, gagging, bronchitis, vomitting... no wonder its a little up. But he said to tell my other GP that hes been looking after me (hes just not my pregnancy doc.. as Im not giving birth in this town) for a long time and is in no way concerned with my blood pressure. So yes, he thinks its a little raised because Im sick.. not pregnancy related.

So I was right geez i'm awesome lol glad you've got some better ABs! I used to get bronchitis every coupons of weeks when I was a kid so I know how sucky it is! Must be ten times worse being pregnant. You will have to take probiotics after you've finished ABs just to balance things up again. Xx
