Vasa Previa

Thanks Teresa, yes I had two very large bleeds at 24 & 25 wks which was scary & they then found the vasa. I'm in hospital now & will stay till bubs comes. I'm seeing him Monday to make a plan & fingers crossed I don't have any more till the CS. Thanks for the support ladies it's a bit scary at times.

Ok well we now have a date for my CS 19th December. He will be 34 weeks & 3 days. So legs crossed for no heavy bleeding between now & then

What a rough ride you've had And now you have couple of months of hospital food to top it off you poor thing
I don't know anything about vasa previa, but it sounds like you are in the best place. It's good you have an end date - something to work towards!!! I really, really hope it's all smooth sailing until then.

Thanks N2L, it has been rough & after all you go through TTC for so long & the crap you have to go through with IVF, you'd think pregnancy could give you a break & be kind but every few weeks of bleeding hasn't been so enjoyable. But I'm greatful that there is light ahead.
The staff at the hospital have been amazing & the food here at FPH is not to bad & DH is bringing my fave foods in. I'm trying to think of it as a mini retreat. No cleaning, cooking or the other day to day chores & a good rest before bubs comes.

Oooh, you will have your bubba befor christmas! There is a library downstairs if you need some reading matter or DVDs to watch! And the smoothie shop there is pretty good too.
