Witch Hazel for haemorrhoids anyone?

I have used witch hazel on my face for years but never heard of it used this way.

There is a Witch hazel Balm by Sunspirit... it is nothing short of awesome. Healthfood or natural shops will have it. (TMI) You can actually put some on a cotton tip and put it inside as well as liberally outside. Awesome relief!

Thank you everyone! Great idea about the glove fingers and putting the bottle in the fridge too! I'll have a look for the balm as well.
I didn't expect it would go away until after birth but had hoped for a bit of more natural relief before going the hard stuff with chemicals. So I'll definitely be giving it a go.

I also found calendula to be totally awesome for them as well...and for tears etc.

Never used in preg but my ex used to use withhazel whenever he got them and he swears by it. Only thing that worked and he'd tried all over counter stuff.

Witchhazel is brilliant for these. You can get a tub of precut wipes in the Witchhazel from the chemist to wipe on them. Completely got rid of the one I had with DD in a few weeks and it is oh so sweat relief
