PS Can I just say I have not studied the effects of pregnancy on blood pressure, so don't take my word as gospel. If in doubt, talk to your midwife

    Hi Amaunet

Your BP is a little low and HR a little fast but nothing to be too concerned about. The first thing that comes to mind is are you drinking enough fluid? You should aim for about 2 litres a day. The second thing that could be causing this is that you normally have a slightly low BP And the dizzy feeling caused you some concern and thus put up your HR. Finally your body is starting to make more blood and blood vessels, (veins and arteries), if the increase in blood volume is not keeping up with the amount of new blood vessels then this can cause a drop in your BP. This is nothing to be concerned about and it is not unusual in pregnancy.
