Thanks everyone for your quick replies; your well wishes and prayers are very much appreciated.
Arimeh - it could be a blocked duct as I am still breastfeeding and the US they did while taking the biopsy looked less dark/different then the one they did on Wednesday....

Meg - Thanks for your kind, encouraging words.

Ash - Thanks for your prayers! How are you going?

Krisp - Thank you for your honest reply; it is good to hear from someone who has been there and got through it (and had two beautiful kids afterwards, as that is one of my immediate concerns...). Apparently their is a very good specialist (oncologist and oncoplastic surgeon in one) in Wagga which is only 1.5 hrs from where we live. It gives me hope that I might not be away from DP and DS for too long at a time (if I do need treatment).

Mantaray - I had my biopsy Friday and are waiting for the results. The biopsy wasn't too painful. It is good to know that you can have a lump removed and successfully breastfeed after.

Thanks again everyone; will keep you updated. Hopefully with good news tomorrow...

Oh Esme, I can't even begin to say how relieved and pleased I am that you are in the clear. That's the best news i've heard in ages. It really upset me to hear that another young Mum was possibly going to face breast cancer.
