Sorry for taking so long to get back on, I haven't been on BB much for the past week or so.
Thankyou all so much for the information, we have plan A and plan B now, DH has alsoe been doing research and a lot of the data says that it is more of a concern in the first couple of weeks, BUT he also doesn't feel 100% comfortable unless the Dr says yes. I was able to gentle pass on snippets of information from above to him, because he is one of those guys you can't push to do things, he has to make the decision of his own accord, which he has done.
So he has the follow up appointment with the Dr next Monday, the follow up with the Neurology Department RAH won't be at least for 3-4 weeks, he is on the waiting list we received a letter stating that he will receive another letter with the appointment details and that it will be 3 weeks prior to the appointment so it won't be before we go away. So depends on what the GP says Monday, if he doesn't give him the all clear, he has already found details on going via Bus, which is 23 hours OUCH! and I will fly with the girls, my mum is coming over as well so I will at least have her help.
So we will still go, it just may be that he will go by bus, which will mean taking extra time off work, to be able to go. All of which would need to be considered when we look at compensation...
