    Hmmm, most bacterial/viral rashes start on the torso... except for menignaccocal which can start on the feet/legs.... but it doesn't sound like that. There's also hand, foot and mouth... but it doesn't sound like that either. Given that she doesn't have a fever then her body isn't fighting a significant internal invasion... indicates it's more likely to be external reaction... an allergy, or irritation (have you changed laundry powder recently?) The gastro symptoms could be co-incidental. Any sign of fever I'd see a doctor. Maybe in the mean time give Nurse On Call a ring... they should help... and ask the right questions.

    ETA: illness does tend to come out in kids' skin in the form of rashes more frequently than adults. I don't know why this is... just something I have noticed.
