Good luck, I hope its nothing at all to worry about!!!!

I had a small lump when DS was about 6 months old - dont' know what it was, but it eventually went away, and this was after my mammy (yukko !!) and a biopsy.

So I hope you have the same outcome as me

I didn't want to have an appointment like this with all 3 of the kids with me this way the older 2 are in day care and I only have Lachlan to worry about!

My head is swimming with "What ifs"!

Good idea about the kids! There are heaps of other options than the most obvious and scary one. Try to put it out of your mind if you can - best not to get too far ahead of the facts. Whatever it is will be able to be managed better because you have chased it up rather than leaving things.
Hope you can manage to have a good weekend. x

I've just seen this. I hope all is okay hun. WHat a stressful time for you.

I am hoping it is just a cyst. My sister recently had one (21yrs old) and she had it removed as it was quite big and they were worried that if a cancer formed underneath it that it wouldnt be detected.
Her breasts look quite normal and you wouldnt be able to tell unless she told you.

I really hope you got some good news. Am thinking of you

Hun, I have just seen this and I hope you got your results and all is well. I have been through it before so I have some idea what you are going through. FWIW, I had to have the lump removed and I am not at all lopsided from it.

The results came back all clear, thankfully!

I am waiting to hear from the RWH Breast Specialist for an appointment with them. Weird thing is she now can't feel the little lump but can feel the big one when I"m sitting up and when I'm laying down, where as before we couldn't feel it when I laid down!

She would of said something if it was a cyst/blocked milk duct/swollen gland wouldn't she?

    Results are all clear!

The Breast Care Nurse (The McGrath Foundation is trying to get as many of these nurses into every hospital) said she will talk to the doctor that I saw on monday and they will decided together if I need to see them again if so they will send me out an appointment if not then I do nothing but get checked every year now!

She told me alot was riding on the results of the needle Biopsy and that nothing SINISTER was found (what ever that means!!) so atm it's just a waiting game!
