contact nurse on call hun - get them to assess over the phone - i think if she's complaining when DD2 yells, i'd be talking to someone to see if they think she needs to be assessed. the dizzy thing is a worry too. there are bones in the ears, eardrum, there are many things that could have happened - or it could simply be because she's had a blow to the head. i would always err on the side of caution and get some advice.

Thanks ladies, we kept an eye on her last night and she seemed ok but was still complaining this morning and when DD2 was yelling that it was hurting.

Took her to the GP who advised it's just severe bruising and swelling & the ear really is the worst place to have bruising like that, it may be like this up to 2 weeks and it may even turn black
Poor mite has to be on nurofen & panadol for the next 2 days and he said not to worry if she feels a little dizzy as the pain can affect her ear, the eardrum is intact and unless she starts vomitting or complaining of a headache outside of the ear not to worry.
