Our school is hosting an event - one of our teachers lost her husband 2 weeks ago to a seizure. He was only 33 and they had two little ones. The youngest was only 8 weeks old

We lost my cousin in January to a seizure at only 16. She wasn't diagnosed til 12 & she'd been seizure free for 18 months.

I think, Yael that the chances of her growing out if it should be high since it's started in early childhood. We never saw Sophie or her mum (also epileptic) have a seizure, so I think it was even more of a shock for us just because we hadn't seen it for it to really be reality.

    My son has this.
Yale which meds is she on?
I know that epilum can make them really cranky and irritable.

Must see if i can get something to support it.

You can get an order form from the website Dansta There are teddies (I'll be getting my kids one each when I can), ribbons, lapel pins, pens, wrist bands etc. You can order straight from them, or keep an eye out in the shops, one of them might have a box of stuff

Next year I plan to approach all the local businesses. I've left it too late this year. The resource centre is going to try get a box to sell though

On Sy's page she also has those items. I'm sure she'd post to you (she is for me). She has chocolate boxes, but they may be all sold. She's talking about more for Easter though. Plus she's holding a raffle & an auction. Have a look into it if you like

My husband has epilepsy, thank you for spreading the word about Purple Day. xxx DH has been fit free on and off since he was first diagnosed (in his early 20's, he's now 36). But his seizures have been more frequent in the last year or so, and just this week he had a seizure while driving. . . Not good, but thankfully he was ok and nobody else was involved in the accident. So sorry to hear about the loss of your cousin Clover, and Trillian, for your workmates husband. How is your son Dansta? And how is the epilim going at treating his seizures?
