I should mention that my stool last night seemed really mucusy and the colour is dark green..
This will be a bit of a TMI post but i am worried..
Last night i went to the toilet and did number 2's and it was green, and just now i just threw up and again it was green. I had fruit loops for breakfast so i dont know if that contributed to the green but when i threw up it went through my nose and when i blew my nose it was green.
I did a google search and they said unless i have been eating a large amount of spinach or other greens then that would be why... but i havent eaten anything green in the last week..and it said it would be bile and something to do with my liver, does that mean my liver isnt working properly????

I always get the same...um output colourwhen I'm pregnant - regardless of my 'green' food intake.
So its just a weird pregnancy thing?
Fruit loops! And licorice. And there's a few other foods that do it too.![]()
Are you taking pregnancy vitamins or additional iron? These can make your output go quite green or dark. (Yuck hey?)
If you are really worried, go and see your GP![]()
Maybe you're turning into the incredible hulk?
Fruit Loops and also Nutri Grain will do it due to the high sugar content. I learnt that the yuck way when DS - who was one at the time got into a box of nutrigrain!! YUCK!!![]()
Fruit loops do it everytime to DS2, which is why we rarely buy them.
Its never happened to me. But i think i will avoid them. They were a craving of mine![]()
If it helps, I don't think fruit loops turning your offal green will hurt you...I certainly don't let it get in the way of my fruit loop consumption.![]()
My Elevits did this to my Number 2's when I was pregnant - Not sure about the vomit though? Went back to normal after I switched to Blackmores at 22 weeks...
I have certainly learnt something today!
mucousy green poo + green vomit = me saying go to the Dr. Could be any number of things. Do you have any other symptoms? such as temp? aches? Don't stress about it but do perhaps get yourself checked out tomorrow.
