    Unhappy Food poisoning?

Or do you think my body just didnt like it?

I ate left over Turkish pizza when i got home from work yesterday, after about any hour i started to get this rotten headache. A friend of mine wanted to go grocery shopping so i tagged along, i started to get horrible pains in my belly, my headache was worse but i didnt say anything to her.

I got home, DP had tried to call me so i called him back and we were chatting. I had the urge to cough so i did and i dry heaved, i knew i was going to be sick so i told him id call him back.

I barely made it to the toilet and it came out, like projectile vomitting and i vomitted for 20 mins straight. I then continued to do so for the next couple of hours until at about 8pm i couldnt take it anymore, my head was throbbing so i rang DP (who was still at work) and said i was going to bed.

I felt fine when i first woke up now my head is throbbing again.

    Any ideas?

Doesn't sound like food poisioning to me but considering you're pregnant, I'd be off to the Dr hon. What was ON the pizza?

It had lamb, chicken and beef plus cheese and onion.

I would still be disinclined to think it was food poisioning as opposed to just a tummy upset (but I'd still get checked out anyway). Food poisioning is much more severe than what you have described and with more symptoms. It is usually accompanied by lose bowel motions, aches, rigors (shivers), fever, vomiting.

No it would not be food poisoning.

Althought the mix of chicken beef and lamb would be nauseting in itself! lol Are you having an reaction to the smell of cookng meat, fat, oils? Many women develop a sensitivity or down right dislike for cooked meat and fats during pregnancy, usually the smell is enough to make them wretch, with me though it was actually eating it.

I would think though that you are very dehydrated, make sure you are drinking plenty of water - about a litre more than you should be normally

Doesn't sound like food poisioning...but its always recommended to stay away from eating reheated leftovers when you are pregnant to avoid such things.

Sounds like how I get when I get dehydrated - but I haven't had a migraine while pg so it could be that too.

Keep your fluids up and take it easy.

I didnt get one migrain when I was preg! Hmm seeing as I have had 2 in the last 2 weeks maybe I need to speed this TTC thing up!!
