My youngest son had a hypospadia and chordee which was corrected when he was 15 months. Sorry but I don't have any experience on the two urethras, but just wanted to reassure you that now my son looks perfectly normal and the surgeon was even able to create a foreskin for him so he didn't have to be circumcised. Apart from an infection straight after the first operation he has had no ill effects from the surgery either. The only scarring he has is on the underside of his penis and is already very faded. Hopefully your surgeon will be able to help your son with only one more operation.
Apparently there are a lot of case with more than two urethra holes, you can have up to eight or something.... My sons were very close to the tip so they were ably to be close and the urethra alined....
I think the only reason your son will need another operation is because they didn't know the hypospadias was part of the problem until surgery IYKWIM? Otherwise they could of fixed them together at once.
my boy had only half a foreskin, so we had him circumcised int he same op and he is fine and he has a GREAT willy lol!!
don't stress about it either, I worried to much and when it was over, I was super relieved!!!
