Honey has anti-biotic/anti-microbial properties. It might kill the moulds that are in anti-biotics. It might be better to mix the powder into something more neutral like juice or water or nutella or ice-cream.

On the other hand it might make the anti-biotic effects stronger.

Really I have no idea lol.

Manuka honey is quite a strong topical anti-biotic. Have you tried any honey tea? Just mix up a bit of honey in hot water and drink it down.

I hope you feel better soon and now is a good opportunity to demand that your DH makes you chicken soup followed by jelly and ice-cream for dinner.

Mum always used to mix the capsules in a teaspoon of jam if we couldn't swallow a tablet

Maybe ask Nurse on Call if you can use them as suppositories. Or can you get a liquid form?

I think ab's taste disgusting opened. Some ab's are available in liquid suspension but i think they have to be prescribes. What Ab's are you on?

ETA. I don't think you can use the ab's as a suppository as it can damage the tissue in your colon and I think there would be absorption issues. then again im not an expert....I would ask the pharmacist rather than nurse on call. Good luck luv....hope you feel better soon xx
