I used it once, but hated it running down the back of my throat. I am currently on the imigrain tablets which i have no trouble with.

Would a 5 yr old be able to take a tablet? or this tablet? might have to ask about it. Do you get any side effects from it?

No side affects, but Imigrain is a pretty powerful drug. I had to go through alot of other stuff before I was even prescribed it. I would definitely be seeing your GP or getting another opinon about something more suitable for your son.

he was on periactin but we didn't like him being on that and then the pead sugessted another drug to be taken on a daily basis but we weren't happy with that either so we went to pur GP who prescibed that..

but I have made an appointment for next monday to see my Gp. will see what we can do for him.. Isaac has finished his cycle of headache so he shouldn't have another for a while now fingers crossed

everytime i am hospitalised they give me 3 aspalgin ( you can buy these over the counter) dissolved in about 30 ml of water and a maxalon tablet this is the reccomended action in ED's these days as opioids have little to no effect on a true migraine i have suffed with true migraines since 12 so for a whole 22 years i hate them and it interfers 9sp) with daily living i am truley sorry your poor little man is going through this

one of my friends mother has recently under gone nerve surgery in an effort to elevate migraines and has been migraine free for the last 6 months i am personally going to investigate this further

THought I would update.. Went to the GP and we have decided to treat with just panadol and nurofen as required and if we find it is particularly bad use the periactin.. I think for now I am happy to do this.. Imigran spray is out..

Shazz: sorry you have to deal with migraines too..
