If it's a sebaceous cyst, the sac has to be surgically removed or it will just fill up again and come back

^^^ yeah that.
DH had one on his back for yeeeeeears - every now and again "popping it" it'd some back with vengance. then the day before we got married he went to the Dr 'parrintly it ended up on the wallso head to the GP and get them to have a look at is. they might give you AB's they did with DH
Hahaha if it were me I would be picking it apart with a needle!
BUT DONT DO THAT
As others have said, leave it alone and get a DR to look at it if it gets worse, doesn't go away etc!
ooh, the last one i had was just after coming back from holiday - it was huge and nasty - and the redness spread from my armpit half way to my elbow - it swelled up nasty bad like you explained, relieved some pressure, then left it for 48 hours before deciding if it needed seeing to - it's now pretty much gone so it's obviously heeling itself
tehehehe i feel like the only person assuming it's nothing major and waiting it out! i am someone that is prone to swelling like that around any "injury" - it's part of how i heal - so i tend to not panic unless it doesn't heal itself in a day or two
the cottage cheesy thing is something i get every now and again - always in a different spot, so it's not like it is a cyst refilling - i got one checked and the quack said it was more like a pimple with a build up of gunk in it from my BO basher! so now i work on the principle of giving it a day to settle down before i start thinking it's anything more than a pimple in a bad place.
