Migraines can sometimes be bought on or worsened by a lack of magnesium or salts in the body. Try taking magnesium tablets to help ward them off. Works wonders for some, not for others but its worth a shot

With the aching neck - have you considered going to a chiropractor?

I mostly get hideous migraines only when my neck goes out. It becomes stiff and it becomes difficult to move in certain directions. Since my arthritis flared up I'm very wary of chiropractic and have switched to bowen therapy. Unfortunately it can be hard to get in if you need urgent treatment.

I've had one since Friday night which is slowly getting better. I won't talk about how I'm medicating it - it's something that would leave most people incapacitated but with my arthritis I've built up quite a tolerance to codeine and can still function while taking it. And it's not something that would be safe to do while breastfeeding. But seriously, consider the chiropractic, or similar.
