    Can give both but generally better to space both out to allow better coverage and to see what works better.

    A normal temp can be up to 38 degress for a child.

    37.9 is just a tad high, they say anything above 37 is a temp. I usually give my LO panadol for temp, and nurofen for pain. I have't done both at the same time but I know you can do that.

    Sorry, I should have clarified myself a bit better, I should have said in the same day, not the same time!

    You can give panadol and neurofen at the same time. By giving both at the same time, you get a better and longer relief for pain.

    The way panadol and neurofen work is completely different - neurofen will only decrease a fever if the fever is caused by pain.
