Yes. She has been hospitalized since tues last week (went home mon for a few hours but back in). She is in til at least Monday. There is a thread in platinum. Things were dire with her kidneys last week

Not much has been said about any changes she needs to make as it's only been confirmed today (I have suspected since tuesday). Mum will be going home essentially solo, and has some pretty terrible diet habits so I want to do all I can to help her transition for hospital to home and keep on track to prevent a recurrence.

Do you know if its acute or chronic? My mum required an emergency operation from acute pancreatitis when she was 25. She's never had alcohol since, and avoids all of the typical bloaty foods.
