Hi Matthew's Mum,
the trugger shot is called Pregnyl or something like that, and it's given to trigger ovulation. Usually even when I have mature follies they don;t ovulate on their own, and this month it did! I'm axiously waiting now. I'm DPO5 and I need to get to DPO 14 before I should test. Fingers crossed! How are you travelling? How's everyone else?
New to this forum, been TTC for 6 months but was diagnosed with PCOS 3 years ago. Started my first round of clomid (50 mg days 2-6) this month and am currently on cycle day 10. Don't really have my hopes up that this will work first time round but stranger things have happened. Did anyone else take the clomid from days 2-6 and if so what day did you O?
I have ovulated on my own in the past but my cycles were 60+ days long.
Booked in to have my CD 21 blood test but have had no scans, FS is just monitoring with bloods at the moment.
I take my serophene (same as clomid) day 4-8. I got some mad hotflushes but beside that it was all good. I was also monitored by blood tests. Day 21, 25, and 29. I found out today that I did ovulate but I don't know when I actually ovulated.. So my dear husband are just practicing every second night. My Dr is also putting me up to 75mg. To be sure to be sure.
Anyway good luck on your journey. And welcome to our thread.

Thanks for the welcome girls It is nice to have a little haven on such a big forum.
I am pretty much in the same boat as Katieboo, took provera to bring on AF and if 50mg does not work this time round, my FS is putting me on 100mg of clomid. I am really happy with his positivity and outlook.
I am 28 years old and been married for the last 3 three years. Last week I was told by my Gyno that I am diagose with polycystic ovaries. I have started taking Clomid 50mg on 5 - 9 days of my menstrual cycle, I am feeling up and down at the moment. My poor husband doesn't think that...
On the 21st I have to do a blood test, so can someone please tell me what happens after when you do your blood test?
Hi all,Hyperballad-good to hear your happy with FS ,i have had to change as mine moved interstate...Mel4695-With the blood test they can usually tell if & when you ovulated, they sometimes change clomid dose if don't concieve first round, good luck...
