Salazopyrin and stillbirth

I am on Salazopyrin, apparently its a category 1 medication, but I'm not sure that I would be willing to take it.

I take it for ulcerative colitis & because the pros out weighed the cons i was told to take it.
Both my girls are were fine while i was on it
