Thank you HSM. I tried a spray, recommended by the pharmacist. Downside, could only use it for four days or it will block up my sonus even more. Got told to then not use it for seven to ten days, then okay for another four. Really? My face hurts even more if i have my head down, even if it is just bending to pick something up from the floor. It is most unbearable.
I have spent the last two days pretty much asleep or just lying down. Yesterday I dropped the kids at school and kinder, then went to the park to rest until pick up time. I didn't last long before I felt quite like death, and started texting my gorgeous friend V. She came with her cousin to drive me and my car back to her place, where I parked myself in a bed. V picked up DS from kinder and organised for DD to catch the bus home with V's girls to wait for the Man and Boy to arrive from finishing work. V's eldest DD even took my three scripts and got them filled for me. They cost nearly $70! She was annoyed because I didn't ask her if I could borrow the money for my scripts, as I told her a while ago to please just tell me if she is short for anything, especially medications. God they are such beautiful people.
Today, still awful migraine. I organised for DD to be picked up by another gorgeous friend, S. Her eldest boy is in DD's class, and we were neighbours before we moved oit here. Funnily enough, they have moved into the unit behind their general store while they do reno's at home, so they are still only about 300 metres away! She also picked DD up from the bus stop with her DS, and looked after her for a few hours, have her dinner, and dropped her home about 6.30.
So after two plus days of feeling like my head was going to explode, I finally got up, feeling almost reasonable, at 6.10 tonight. Even my two little boys were so good for me today. Hopefully, tomorrow I will be up to driving again. Ct scan tomorrow!
Netix I'm glad the littlies were good for you today, hope the ct goes well tomorrow!
And yep the reason your head pounds when you put it down is because all the blocked up 'gunk' is trying to get out, a few sprays of fess or any saline spray then head down with a vaporizer or bowl of boiled water. It's pretty gross what'll happen when you do that... Needless to say you'll need a lot of tissues lol
I can't remember if I said or not that I did end up on one lot of antibiotics but didn't need to take all the doses (on Dr recommendations) and what you may be interested in regarding that they had no adverse affects on my bf (and I do often struggle to keep a good supply)
Like I said hope you get some relief and answers soon.
