    Sore Knee

Some of you may have seen my previous thread about sore hands, i went and had blood tests and the Dr had asked me to come back in 3mths.

The levels for rheumatoid arthritis were a 14, he said normally above a 14 is an indication of arthritis and i needed to be re-tested.

Lately i am finding it quite hard to sleep, my hips ache, my back aches, if i bend over for a long period of time it's almost like i fuse into that position and it hurts to stretch it out so i was thinking of going back to my won dr.

The last 3 days i have had a sore knee, when i bend it it's like it's not 'clicking' into place and there is quite a bit of pressure there, PITA as i am always on the floor with DD's etc.
DP thinks i am exaggerating but i showed him my knee before and it actually looks swollen compared to the other.

I have made an appt with my Dr for tomorrow to get it checked, should i get the arthritis levels checked again, is it something that could cause this in my knee, hips and back?

    TIA.

if you have elevated inflammatory factors, it could impact you in a lot of ways. if you've had previous injuries, they may flare up, or you may get systemic joint pain, depending on how high the levels are

as a matter of course, given you have had no injury recently and you're feeling worsening pain in your joints, i would think the GP should re-test your bloods to compare and see if anything has changed. make sure to mention the hand pain and borderline results to your GP so that he knows this isn't a new and isolated "injury"

Thanks hun, i'm going back to my normal GP, she is awesome and i love her to bits, costs me to go but atleast i know she listens to me and i can understand every word she says.

Def haven't had any injuries in my knees before... maybe my weight is starting to make a difference to all my joints

Hopefully she can give me some more answers, it's a PITA and quite uncomfortable, looks odd swollen aswell.

Went and had my appt, Dr said there is def fluid on my knee and she thinks it COULD be arthritis related, she has ordered more bloods anti CCP, E/LFTs, FBE, CRP, ESR & ANA .. got to go back in about a week and go right through the results.

She said it's good i came to get re-checked and that i am keeping an eye on it, am hoping it's nothing as i can't take anti-inflamatories becuase of BFing, does anyone have advice of things i can do to ease the pain without harming my BFing journey?

It's still quite sore today... damn it.
