    if its superficial I would leave it & the body will form a little bit of puss around it to push it out.

    an old remedy is to put a blob of vegemite on the splinter and cover with a bandaid- the yeast is suppose to draw it out!!
    cant hurt!! I would have a go when she is asleep!!
