I`ve never heard of that one but I`ll also try it next time.

What I usually do is bathe my eye in warm salt water, the relief is instant and normally within a few days it`s much better, all I do is get a bowl of salt water and a clean facewasher, dip the facewasher into the salt water and keep it on your eye for as long as you can bear it, the hotter the better off course without burning yourself.

I hope it`s better soon, sty`s are very painfull.

I've tried the salt water solution too, and Idon't know if it worked or not, because it did get better after a day or two... DH didn't help, as he insisted on making pirate jokes the entire time I had it as my eye was quite swollen.

Eewwwoooo I use to get them all the time as a kid.

Mum always did the ring trick but that didn't always work so when it didn't work I used this stuff called golden eye ointment and that use to clear them up beautifully.

Oh wow, I had no idea about the gold remedy! I just got rid of one and it was so itchy and painful but I always though you just need to let it run it's course so I put up with it for days Lucky I found this thread!

PS. I think it was my Mum's mascara that did it - never share eye makeup!

Thanks ladies,the ring takes away the pain,it works well.

My husband said I get Sty`s from Eye strain too much BB,lol.
