For me, it starts with sciatic pain and then it gets painful to walk (around the pelvis/hips/lower back) and its EXTREMELY painful to put your knickers on by standing on the one foot, you actually have to sit down to put them on, rolling over in bed is painful, i always had to support my hips and push them towards each other.. um yeah its just frekkin painful!!!!
What symptoms do you have? Get thee to a physio if you need help cos they are awesome.
Oh I had this in my last pregnancy!
Basically it was a lot of pelvic and groin pain! For me it used to hurt to even walk around getting groceries towards the end! I could barely move my legs apart even to get out of bed the pain was that bad!
Thankfully I haven't had any problems from it since my bub was born.
Have had REALLY Bad sciatic pain/hip /pelvis and back pain - to the point I can only stand/walk around for about 15mins at a time before the pain becomes too bad I have to sit down or I feel like my leg are going to give way, it hurts to lay/turn over in bed cause the pain is just excruciating, I definatley can't stand on one leg to put pants/skirts on, have resorted to dresses over the head. hot baths and massage help a bit, but doesn't seem to last that long.
The pain goes down the back/side of my leg though, rather than the inside of my leg...would that be normal???
Yeah I never got pain down the inside of my leg.
Does it hurt to press down on your pubic bone?
you tend to get a lot of hip or pelvic pain with it. and it's not just a little bit of pain... it's quite a lot. I know since I've had it, my pelvis clicks a lot. clicking is not a good thing! If you think you have it, see your doctor. You may need physio, I know I need it all the time! And exercise is a good thing to keep it at bay. Lots of leg and core exercises.
I'm sure this one's different for everyone in symptoms, but your physio or doctor will be able to tell you if you have it!
best of luck sweetie
