I often get tender breasts before and during the first couple of days of my period.

For the last 2 or 3 months my right breast has been tender when touched (doesn't otherwise hurt) and feels quite hard on the side closest to my arm and in the centre under the nipple (but not the nipple itself). This is everyday, doesn't seem connected with my period...

Does anyone else get something similar?

I should probably get it checked out, but I feel silly going to a doctor when I don't feel sick
