    Thankyou Leasha.

Hi Mel. I had actually forgotten about this thread and sadly am still trying to come to terms with the results of mums tests.

My mum has cancer of the uterus and huge cysts on one ovary, the other is still not there. She was supposed to be having a D & C but the anesthetist here refused to do it as he say she is too overweight and needs to loose 40kg first!!! My god how sick do they want her to get. She has now been refered to king edward hospital for women in perth where it looks like she will have a complete hysterectomy, which hopefully if the cancer is nowhere else, will solve that problem. Its just a waiting game now to hear when she will have the surgery done. Its been tough but mum is strong and has sooo much support. I am really close to mum these days, so as much as its hurting that she has to deal with this, im being strong and as positive as i can for her.
My mums mothers cancer is back but not getting bigger or shrinking and she has decided to have no more treatment, we all understand that as she has been through soo much trying to fight it, but i think its really affecting mum and she is frightened too. There's so much going on for my poor mum lately aside from all this, so dad is going to take her away as soon as she has had the op and healed for some time out which will be great.

OMG Jess, that's terrible news. I'm so so sorry for your family. Now I know where you get your strength from. Your beautiful mum must be so strong to be there for her own mother and also going through it herself. And then there is you. You have been through so much lately hun, you are so brave, strong and courageous (sp?) it takes my breath away. I just hope all this added stress doesn't stir up those contractions again. You really are an inspiration to me Jess, no matter what gets thrown your way, you are always on top of it.

I send you, and your family my best wishes. Just please try to relax. I'm sure your Mum, your mothers Mum are telling you the same. Take care XXX
