Tonsiloliths, I think they're called? YES! I hate em! I usually end up making myself cough really hard to try to loosen them out when they get big enough. I tried actually picking at them, but that just made me gag
I used to and my son did too. Two tonsillectomies later and no more smelly tonsil boogers. It's a sign your body is fighting infection apparently, so when you have them you may feel more run down and 'sick' with a cold/flu. The ENT I saw didn't know of any other permanent way to stop them other than tonsillectomy other than trialling an extended course of antibiotics. Obviously I chose the surgery and three years later I haven't had them return and neither has DS.
My sister and I get them constantly and they STINK!
I had 2 that I picked out tonight, one was huge and the other was a bit smaller.
I always pick them out, cant stand having them in there it feels like food stuck in my throat..
It took me 4 days to get these new ones out, by the end I had made myself bleed
Omg, I swear I have a never ending supply of the little suckers! Checked this morning and there was another big one and another small one, on the left side again
