if he really has gastro, I'd be careful with milk. It can make him feel worse and can also lead to temporary lactose intolerance secondary to gastro.

Thanks MG - what I was trying to say I was trying to persude him NOT to drink milk for once as I know to avoid it when they have gastro rather than persude him to actually drink it lol! He loves his milk so was a hard battle but I won this round!
