HI all I hope everyone is well....
well The ugly coffee table sold on ebay for $26.00 LOL (DF paid $40), well its gone now and out of my house PHEWWW....
Im very tired today, Could not sleep so I sat up for 3 hours and played online "uno" on facebook...
I have met people from all over the world, and you can chat to them while you play...
My df keeps changing his mind about IVF so I really dont know where I stand, maybe I may have to have a tubal reversal and that will have to wait a year as I dont have $8000 to pay for it....
I wish he would make up his mind...
He is not sure he wants more kids and thinks 5 is enough....
I wont rest untill I have one more....
-
Luvchildren: I agree with everything going up in prices, my weekly shopping bill is $250-$300, my electricity between $600 and $1000 a quarter (usually $600 but the last one $900- Ouch.)
petrol costs me $80 a week (I have a diesel van) $100 a week to repay the loan for it.
morgage $450 week.
I have 2 school camps to pay for (1)@$300 (1)@$250.
we have a bar on the home phone and only recieve incomming calls as we could not afford $100 a month to pay for it..
I have to use my mobile to ring everyone and it drops out on me or they say "ARe you there? I cant hear you"....
winning the lottery would be nice but i cant afford a ticket LOL....
I used to shop with $100 a week and now that only buys fruit and veg and maybe bread and milk....
-
mummy25.....i can totally hear where you are coming from.....everything just seems to be going up and up, but the wages don't go up and up to cover the cost of living.....well i have had a very busy week with taking my son to his MRI earlier in the week then had a phone call Wednesday morning to take my daughter into hospital yesterday for surgery on her mouth and her bad infection, and now she is home resting up.....last week with all the floods up here, dh car got caught in a flash flood on his way home, and killed our car, and cost us hundreds to repair it.....tonight we are heading down to Brisbane to the Hoggs Breath for a birthdy party for dh's best mates birthday......so i am goign to enjoy a few hours of not havign to think about anything......kiya
-
hi everyone how are you? sorry i havent been on had a problem with internet changed over to adsl2 so hopefully should be working faster. can agree with everything going up we now have 2 cars that need fixing atleast one is going. well the bf is back and fully moved in as for the ivf i think we are starting that still around august.
angela
-
welcome back katt.....hope the internet starts behaving itself and you can come back on more :-)......we are still doing our IVF, but like dh said yesterday while we were int he waiting room during my dd surgery, we need to get past everything at the moment and get ourselves on track, then we can start back on our journey with IVF.....this all came from him and i agreed.....at the moment the rest of the family and things associated with that come first then i will be able to start.....kiya

Hi Ladies;)
Mummy25.....Yeh Concept here in Perth would be the cheapest it cost me $2500 for a cycle,i like them coz you dont need to come up with the funds before starting.I still have IVF bills from my 3 cycles costing me around $4000,just gota put them off until after my holiday.
Mumof6.....Babe hows things your end? have you settled in yet?
Kiya.....Oh boy with all your family problems i totally agree with your DH IVF can wait there are more important things to settle first HUGS.Babe enjoy your night out ok you deserve this.
Katt....Dont worry August is only a few months away, time does fly.I will look forward to your cycle.
Luv.....Hows things?
Nicnic....Sounds like your doc done a good job,i hope you have success soon.
Over here we dont have alot of docs that do the TR i only know one doc and he cuts you open so its scary, and the cost is around $4000 so thats why i went with IVF it was cheaper and no cutting involved.Hehe yeh i got married very young at 16 in Singapore and had my first boy at 17 he will be 20 soon how sad that time goes to fast.
Are you on facebook? if you are look me up im Jodie Othman :)
Well ladies i had my first OB appt at my local hospital and boy i reckon going public is better, they took my UTI serious and now im on Antibiotics for the rest of my pregnancy. Also because i lost Shaheed at 20 weeks they are a bit worried and have ordered 3 X scans for 18/20/22 weeks just to make sure everything is looking ok and nothing is opening. They also said that i must have lost him due to the infection and not my cervix opening as i have had 4 healthy pregnancies before that.I feel alot better in there hands. That hospital is also the only one in WA that accepts premmies so if something was to happen they have my records atleast. My next scan will be the 22nd of June i will be 18 weeks,i cant wait for that scan coz im going to find out there sex yayyy.
Well we have 4 weeks until its DD wedding, and our holiday yet we have no money EEK.Im hoping to win lotto before then hehe if i buy a ticket.Guys if i do win i will fly you all over here so we can have a great weekend :)
Well i better be going to many things to do and no energy to do them hehe.
-
mummy25, i hear you.. its just money money money.....
dearmum, glad to hear that things are going well and i am looking forward to knowing.... hope your sharing with us.....
nicnic, sounds successful. if you had the clamps its usually a higher success rate... i had the hystosalpingogram (i had so many, I learnt the word lol) they are a little uncomfortable but you live out of them. I hope its successful for you
katt, welcome back. don't worry belly has been down for the last couple of days and that makes me bonkas.....
mumofsix, hey were are you....
-
Hello Ladies.
Dearmum, I am on facebook, or more accurately my husband uses my facebook acc for his personal use on mobwars and the other games. next time im on i will look you up.I was 15 when i had my first, and i cant believe he will be 15 in 2wks. Time goes too quick. How do all your kids feel about you having the twins? Were they all happy for you to be starting over?
mummy25, i dont know if its any help or not, but , i had my T/R 3wks ago with dr lok and it didnt cost me $8000. RPA hospital does 10 a year where you dont have to pay for the operating theatre.( because its a teaching hospital.) Dr lok was $3000( $750 back from medicare) $300 for hospital room for the day, and usually $500-$800 for the anethiesist ( $200 back from medicare.) My anethiestist bill was $1500 but i had complications and was under for twice the length of time as it normally takes. I dont know if its too far for you to travel, but it is defineatly cheaper than some of the others.
kiya, I know we havnt spoken before but i just wanted to let you know im thinking of you and your family. it certainly sounds like you all have alot going on, Fingers crossed it all gets sorted pretty soon.
Have a good weekend everyone
NIC :)
-
So if I go to the rpa I can get it totally free????
Wow I might look into that.
Its in sydney yeah????
You all might see me on tv (laughs) RPA hehehehe...

Hi Girls......well sh and i had the best night out last night.......we went to the Hoggs Breath Cafe and it was just amazing......my dd 13 & dd 8 stayed at their grandparents house and had such a brilliant time.....dd 8 did not want to come home.....the other ds did their own thing since they are old enough to take of themselves.......we did however come home to dh ex starting shiat again, but now she has gone to a whole new level and is now publicly on the net naming my in-laws and making claims that she is speaking and meeting with them......they can't stand her and the air that she breathes......i made dh ring them for a second time tonight to ask them if the snagglepuss in deed has been speaking with them, and they were horrified beyond belief to find out what she has been saying about us and our kids and now them.....they now want us to take legal action against her......so a great weekend turned into a shiat weekend.....so i am now sitting here with my wine and surfing around and listening to music....sorry for venting girls, it just helps to let it out with my girls....take care...kiya
-
Hi girls im still around, struggling to unpack the last 3 boxes I just cant seem to bring myself to do it.
Im just so drained and need a good couple of days in bed i think.(not gunna happen in this life time)

Take care xxxx
-
Kiya: I dont know how you are holding it together, I would be a right mess and would have completly lost it with her by now, she sounds like someone who has no life and it sounds as though she knows how to hurt you and your family.
Tell her to F##k off and change all numbers possable, Ignore anything out of her mouth as she sounds like a compulsive liar and a right Biarch....
Mumofsix: WHOHOOO GOOD LUCK....
-

-
mumofsix: How did you go at westmead???
welcome back bel78 -----
-
Hi girls,
I had my first BT yesterday and my levels were 400, they have to be 800 or something??
So they said I have to do a BT everyday now till O.
So I went in today again but i was running late so I wont get my results till tomorrow.
Back in again at 6:40am in the morning so I can be back home in time for DF to go to work and me take the kids to school
-
hi bel78. Guess i count as one of the new girls since you were last on.lol. I had my t/r 4wks ago and i have my dye test on friday. I dont know if its standard or not, but my dr does it at the time of the op, ( mine flowed through very well.) and then he does another one a month later just to check it has healed properly. Im not sure how your dr is doing it, but mine did keyhole surgery. My clamps were in a bad position so it took him 3hr45min instead of 2hrs. The op and general anesthetic ect was fine, but no one told me about " refered pain" afterwards. Not everyone gets it, so dont panic, but i had awful pain in my shoulder. my tummy was a bit stiff, but i couldnt move my right shoulder, arm, chest ect. I had to go to a different hospital the next day, but all the drs ect seemed to think the pain was so bad because of how long i was knocked out. Try not to worry about it, the op itself is fine. For me im glad im having the dye test done, just too be sure. But if your dr doesnt think its needed, and your happy with that then i wouldnt worry. If you would rather have it just t be sure, just ask him for the referal to put your mind at ease. Either way, Goodluck and try not to worry too much, it will be fine.
mumofsix, gotta love the early morning blood tests.lol. At least things are moving along for you. What day transfer are you doing?
Luvchildren, hows it going? When do you think you will be starting?
Dearmum, How are you feeling? Getting lots of rest i hope.
A friend of our had a baby girl last night. Since the first day of our first ivf cycle, 13mths ago, we have had a total of 16!!! family and friends fall pregnant. Its been a bit tough, especially the ones that have already had their babies and when i see them i cant help but think that would have been us if it had worked. The hardest was my sister. She found out she was pregnant the day before we found out our first cycle failed. She wasnt thrilled to put it nicely and it was a huge shock. But i now have another beautiful 8wk old niece who i get to spoil all the time. And my sister and her older kids absolutely adore her. She is such a good baby.
Catch everyone later
NIC:)
-
Hi girls,
well Bt yesterday where 880 and todays were 697 so O over night. Nurse called today and said transfer day is tuesday at 11:30 am
-
5 days till your transfer Mumofsix, woo hoo I will count the days with you...
Im trying to work out which name suits u better (mumofseven, or mumofeight LOL)....
-
nicnic, yeh gratefully i hope to finally start this cycle today.. if af comes. it has been a very long 3 years for me and i still am concerned, but know that God will do whats best. hows the ttc coming?
kiya, sorry to hear she is giving you trouble again. some women are horrible. I know that with us, it took alot to get her to go away. is you august start looking ok? I can't believe that my time is actually nearly here.
Hey mummy 25, I like your thinking about mum of six... but it hopefully will be mum of eight... remember that show eight is enough???
-
Yeah I remember the show (laughs) now she had her work cut out for her....
I need to visit the hairdressers and get my colour topped up, maybe some eyebrow waxing, new clothes, But everything is going up and I just cant afford it, our bills are getter HIgher GRRRR....
I could have done this already if my electricity bill had not have come in $500 higher than normal.... (my bill is normally $450-$600, this quarter $950.00 with 2 weeks to pay, a few people I know have said that their bill went up heaps too, so I dont know what they are doing over there at the electricity company (striking it rich !!)
my ds has his appointment today for his ? ADD and Im hoping the doctor has some healthy advice for me, last night he bounced off walls, he came to the car from school trying to upper cut himself in the face as some kids had upsett him, he is seven and should not behave like this (we dont behave like this).....
-
hi all,
hope u guys are all well,
mummy25 really hope the doc can help with ur son, poor kid shouldnt have to go thru this, i know what u mean aobut the price of everything just when we thought we were geting on top of things people my husband done jobs for (we have exvacation business) are not paying, and centrelink give us a debt of over $20 000. which we do not owe but according to there laws they are different to tax office laws, and our business is runnig at aloss due to rising costs of everything etc, so all u out there be very careful with estimates, not that u can really predict what u will earn, centrelink are a law unto themselves, but we should be postive other countries are worse off than we are.
nicnic thanks for the encouragement, cant wait for op if it ever happens, just a little scared of the unknown, but it is so good to talk to others that have been thru it. dont like the sound of the shoulder pain!!!!
must go hope u all have a great weekend,
-
hi girls.....sorry for not being on lately.....dh and i have been tackling this snagglepuss (dh's ex) business.....so today i rang CSA as we have found out that dh's dughter just turned 17 is no longer living at home and is living with her boyfriend, and has so for a little while now.....they are now investigating and if it is found not only do payments stop, but snagglepuss has to pay dh back.....we also spoke with the police today to get their advice who instructed us to go see our solicitor because snagglepuss is now not only sending abusive emails, but is now leaving messages on mine and my 13 dd mobile.....sorry for venting girls, but this woman is just getting under my goat.....well enough of me.......how is everyone going ?? fill me in on all the juicy goss.....kiya
-
Listen to you girls lol...mumof8!! Lol

Hi everyone.. Had my dye test on friday, everything looks great, no blockages!! I know this is only the first step, and i still have to fall pregnant, but its a start!! I should O sometime next weekend, so we will make the most of it..lol.. Its a weird feeling knowing its possible to fall pregnant again, its been so long...
Luvchildren.. So things are happening for you now? I have my fingers crossed it works first go for you.
Dearmum.. Get all the rest you need now, we all know you wont get it when the babies are born.. lol. ( i loved the pics!! you look great, and enjoy the bump!!)
Mumofsix.. Good luck tomorrow. Hope the transfer goes well.
Kiya.. Hope things are going ok for you. It must be incredibly hard at the moment.
Mummy25.. medication is not always a bad thing. My son tried 2 diff ones before starting with this one and now he is doing o.k.. If its what they need then they should at least try it. What medication are they considering?
Hello to everyone else!!
NiC :)
-
Hey Girls well im off for transfer. I just got home from from the airport. I went and picked up Luvchildren.
Shes come all the way down for my transfer.
So great. Ill jump on later and let you all know how i went.
Take care
-
mumofsix: congradulations, those 2 bubs better stick....
Luvchildren: It is great that you could come down to support mumofsix and be there for her, true friends are hard to come by.....
ninic5 - we have not discussed medicine types yet, I see him in 2 weeks for that part but I could use some help and info on them if you or anyone else has some.
I have heard that ridalin (spelt wrong) can make them less likely to eat.
I want something that will do its job, that I can have on the pbs system (not cost me $90 a week) and that wont make him worse.
A friend had her son on one and he heard voices in his head - I dont want that one LOL we have enough on our plate now without extra's....
-
mumofsix: dont leave me hanging, how did everything go???
-
All those who cant sleep hands up --
miss 4 has been very unwell with temps of
39
I fronted to emergency last night to wait 3 hours for a 5 minute consult with the doctor who told me she had the flu - go home
the high temps would not budge even with panadol so i went today to the gp, sorry no appointments grrrr , tonight I rang the gp after hours and they gave me an appointment:D and said she has a bad chest infection and an ear infection with immidiate medication supplied
They should know a mum knows her child :)
I cant sleep as she is very restless and her temp still unsettled even with nuraphin

;)Ladies
Mummy25....Babe sorry your little one is sick theres nothing worse than having them sick hey.I hope that fever comes down real soon.
Mumof6.....Babe how did it go yesterday?dying to know.
Hi Luv.....Your one special friend, thankyou for supporting EM she sure would need it at this time.Your time must be close yippee.
Hi nicnic.....Very good news about the dye test now your ready for lots of BDing hehe.I have a friend on another site that had her TR in December and she has just fallen pregnant so that wasnt such a long wait im so happy for her.
Hi Kiya....Thinking of you XX
Well ladies time is starting to go quick for us now,i have DD wedding in 17 days :D and our holiday in 21 days and theres still so much to do ahhh.Thankgod we just got a credit card otherwise our holiday would have been put off again, now i can afford to breath.
Ladies i had a good night last night while i was sleeping i felt the first kick :Dit was only from one twin and i was waiting for the other one to kick but nothing so i guess it will come soon.Thats the stress about having twins is you always seem to worry that one of them have died off.Im trying to convince myself no matter what i do if god wants one back then thats how its going to be and no point worring about it.If i did end up with just one baby i would go back to IVF for another lot of cycles.I cant have a single child its to much on us parents.
Enough about all that BLah,today i have my son going for his license and i feel just as nervous as him i reckon hehe.
-
Hi girls... sorry i did get on but must have forgotten to post:rolleyes:
Well all went well yesterday and they only had to thaw 2 blasties.
The guy said they were between blastie and hatching stage, so great.
Had some niggles today might just be stress.
Anyways better go xxx
-
Hey Dearmum....thanks....i am still here....i'm stressing a little over tomorrow as my dd 15yr sees his neurosurgeon about the mri i had a 2 weeks ago....keep taking it easy...hugs kiya

-
mumofsix - wishing you the best outcome.....
kiya - I hope it all goes well Im here if you need a friend, we all are !!!
dearmum - yeah she had a turn today at 10.50 had a convulsion and we had to rush her to hospital where she has been admitted to the childrens ward in maitland hospital, she was so dehydrated, vomiting, and so pale and sleepy.
They said she has developed Phumonia now (again spelt wrong)...
we have a drip and we have strong medicine being administered via it,
I dont think I have ever felt so helpless during this time I mean she has been sick now for 48 hours and it just keeps getting worse.
I better get back to hospital to swap with DF.... (He wont stay overnight if he can help it so I am going too)....
take care all...
OHh and mumofsix I used to feel fireworks in my tummy every time I concieved, (thats how I knew I was pregnant) so maybe you have fireworks??? (good sign)
-
Lol it just feels weird. Like a dull pain
-
Mumof6....The pain could also be from the transfer them poking cant be to good on our bodies hey.Good luck we will wait for your prego signs:D
