Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well.
Just a quick question for you all.
In 2 weeks i'm off to melbourne for my first appointment about a reversal at the royal women's hospital.
I was able to get a copy of my post op report from when i had the tl done. It does say where on the tubes the clips were put, but it doesn't say how long the tubes are. Does anyone know if this will make a difference??
I thought that info was supposed to be in the report and that is what they would be looking for when i go for the appointment.
Any advise would be great.
Take care everyone,
framaine xoxoxo
-
When I had my TR done, I was told before hand that I would just have a lap. done to check my tubes, length & condition, then if they were ok I would then he would proceed with the reversal, perhaps this is standard?? Maybe you should ask, I got my copy of the post op too & it never mentioned exactly where the clips were placed either.
-
Same same FRAM mine didn't say anything about how long they were.
Onemore my heart goes out to you darl. That must have been a very big decision to make. I hope hubby and you can get back on track, and who knows what the future may bring you both. I could never do what you are doing cause i would always feel something missing from my life.Take care.
Hey Ang long time no see. What have you been up to???Hows the new house???? Any news on your next step??? Did you take that new job???

I hope eveyrone is well and fine....Ive got some sticking their dame feet into my ribs ATM...not very comfortable but being the last pg for me...well doesnt matter. Have found out that my placenta is right at the front...hope that changes before the 8th of Jan for my c/s. Have been told not to go anywere in December due to my early labour troubles....I might copy Storm and have a christmas baby..pmsl...nah I'll go the New Years option.
Ok going to have a shower...cause me stinky!!!!!!!
-
Kristy- you must be feeling heaps atm... i feel for you and understand... do you work or study or stay home with you beautiful boys?
em, sorry about the sickness....... hope it clears up must be the twosome..... giving you all those hormones.... so happy for you mate.... when do you get to have a scan? I have actually lost a child.. don't panic just older boy has made choice to try live with his father. i tried to let him know that it won't turn out like he expects.. but i want him to make the choice not me. he's 13 so i let him go. his father has never had any of the older three children stay there more than 2 weeks.... but that was all three. the two girls have stayed with me.. almost finished this semester at uni.....yeh so had enough!!!! oh get to do practical at aged care... so looking forward to it!
fram, yeh i was told the length of you tubes matter, but mostly clips are put at the isthmus (middle) of the tubes. i also had mine under lap like mum of 5.. make sure you do some research and look up as much info as you can..... be informed about what is being done to you and how they intend to do it.... don't be afraid its your bodyxxxx hope it works out!

Hi everyone, hope you are all well.
Thanks to you all for the info.
More research i will do for sure. As if i haven't done heaps already.......
luvchildren, i hear where you are coming from, as you will see further down i have what i call the modern day brady bunch.
And i gotta tell ya, it is the hardest thing i have ever done in my life.
I too, have a son that lives with his father, the only difference for me, he is my youngest, just turned 8. And we live nearly 600kms apart. We have only seen each other thanks to school and work committments, twice this year so far.
But for me, it doesn't stop there.
My dh's daughter (15) and i don't get along at all, as well as myself and the dreaded ex wife. It got to the point where my step daughter doesn't come to see us at all and has no contact whatsoever with us. But..... Her mum does. Just yesterday she called my dh and told him that step daughter has just come out and said that she, at the age of 15 thinks she is gay....
For me, not so shocking, i had my ideas on that. My dh doesn't care, he just misses her and wants her back. But her mother is going off her dial. She hates the idea and says she will do all she can to stop it. That poor girl. As if life isn't going to be hard enough for her if this is the life she has chosen for herself, but to not have your mum's support......
I guess it just goes to show, we all out there have a story to tell and we are all linked in some way. Allbeit some of the strangest ways....
Only 13 more sleeps till our first appointment in melb about a reversal. I can't wait but am also so nervous at the same time.
Any way, i'm off for now.
Have a great day everyone.

WOW.....boy did i have a lot of catching up to do. So many CONGRATS going out to all the ones that need it. I have been busy lately. My eldest son 16.5yrs has come home for the week, but a lot of planning went into it. Found out last night that he will be coming home for good at xmas. Not sure how that is going to go down, but hopefully things have changed and so has he. Still goign to go thru Westmead, just been put back on hold for a little while, but that is fine as i figure i don;t want to bring a new baby into a hostile home. Plus i also want to lose those kilos i gained from all those nights of wine & chips...LOL I so miss my size 10/12. I know they are still there somewhere in this body i just know it. A few more days of riding my horse and my thighs and butt will be firm again....LOL Better dash all......Cheers kiya

 CONGRATS EM  I am so happy for you, and first time at it as well. I hope i'm just as lucky as you when i start my IVF journey next year.. Dea - best wishes for your MIL. My dad just had one of his kidneys removed on Monday due to cancer. He is pretty sore at the moment, but doing ok. Hope everyone else is doing good. Cheers Kiya
-
OMG Em, thats great news. Congrats. Must be so exciting, two little ones. Probably shouldnt say it but oh well... sucked in on you sil, you went 1 better ....
Maz- congrats on your great news also.
Dea - hope your mil is doing ok, I have an aunt that had breast cancer and had to have breast removed. She has just been given the all clear and can stop medication, but she`s been on the medication for about 4 years.
Hope everyone else is doing well.
-
I just cant believe it. TWO babies. We did a BIG gamble and went with two and we got two so we are very very lucky. I dont know what two will be like but Im sure i will find out soon enough. The weird thing is that there a week apart lol(no im not on drugs and yes your reading right)one is 5weeks 2days and thew other one is 6weeks 2days. I asked the guy if it was normal and if it was ok and he said its all fine. Back for another ultrasound next thursday to check
-
Wow Em, imagine giving birth to twins 1 week apart!! You are so so lucky, I've been thinking about you all arvo!! woohoo
-
LOL.... stuff that c/s for me. I dont know how it works weather they take my due date from the smallest baby or just go in between. Cause im 6weeks 2days today by my dates and I'm not waiting any longer then i have to. The little one will just have to do some catching up over the next few weeks. I had to go shopping tonight i couldn't help myself. Not much out there really for winter babies and its either pink or blue not much yellow white and green at all. Oh well i have plenty of time. Oh I'm just so excited,I have two little babies. I'm pretty scared to cause babies can be $hits sometime and one can be hard enough so I hope I will cope and still be able to give the other kids the love and care they need. Funny I don't feel any different from my other pregnancies. You would think having two would feel abit different. Well I'm sure it will feel different at the end when I'm twice the size hehehe.
-
I can totally relate to the ****s thing, god I would not cope if I had 2 Zaccies, then again twins quite often have totally different personalities. Em, you have alot to look forward too, & you will still have plenty left over for the other kiddies.I can only imagine how different the preg will be, like you said towards the end, I will have all my sympathy going out to you :)
-
Congratulations Em and I hope that everything will go very smoothly for you. I will try and post more here this afternoon after work.
Ang
-
**** IM away cause im sick as a dog and I get on to hear this ownderful news!
Well done Em honey I am so over the moon for you!!!!!!!!!!!TWINS woo hoo with the difference in dates...could one have been convieced naturally?????
Storm - your next woman!
Dea - I so hope you ok and that your MIL is getting better. My MIL went through the same thing last year and now she's over in Europe on a 5 week holiday. Try to stay positive matie
Oh have to go...feeling a spew coming on away
-
Oh Maz, I hope the m/s goes soon, what a PITA for you. I don't think I'll be next, my pathetic body cant even ovulate properly & I am sick to death of EWCM & sex it's not funny, I've had enough & I just want to O already. But my stupid temp & even stupider body is giving me the ****en *****s big time.
Sorry for the vent, but grrrrrrrrrrrr
-
Hey Maz im not to sure we did i two put back in. I guess one stuck straight away and the other one had to have a think about it hehehe. Mmmm maccies for breaky
-
Aww Storm im sure it wont take too long
-
Storm - stop charting woman your gonna do your head in!!!!!
Ive had gastro for 2 days and I really need a new bum hole and tummy, their very owies
-
I think it is too late...........................
-
It really does take over your life trying to have a baby hey Storm
-
Yeah it sure does , I'm glad I didn't have to go through this with Angel. This is only my 2nd cycle at it,& I am already getting the cranks with it. I used to O on CD15, last month it was CD26, & it looks like the same this time. How freaking frustrating.
-
See if your doctor will put you on clomid to make it normal again. I have some here if you want them
-
We did the clomid thing with Zaccie, but I think it may be the BF'ing, some how ergh. Just sick of it & Dh has gone away so if I do pop over the weekend, I'll miss it. LOL ah the joys.
-
your still Bfing Storm - half your luck. I hope I have better luck this time round..do you have a kabana boy hiding for a 'weekend show'?? hehehehehe
-
Nope, no sexy Kabana boys hiding. It's just me & BOB & I'm afraid he doesn't perform LOL.
Em, I've been thinking about it & maybe I will take you up on your offer.
-
Hi ladies,

-
em, wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW WWWWWWWWWW
i am so excitied for you- how excellent is that- you got both. will they keep an eye on you over the next couple of weeks to check up? i may have to pack my things and come and try it down there. the gynea that i have seen wants to cut out both tubes if i go ivf and theres no way i will do that at all.. did they tell you that? what was the clinic again?
storm, not to worry you'll be next!
maz, keep the chin up not long now... easy for me to say.... when is the c/s date?
-
Hey Luv you can come stay anytime. They never said anything about cutting anything out of me. We went with Westmead IVF Clinic, $1450 and I got back $890 from Medicare after my cycle was completed how good is that. You dont have to go thru all the testing and stuff cause you know what the problem is so you pretty muchly start after your first appointment with them. Woohoo how exciting.
I think I have to go to the doctor for a check up every two weeks not every month like normal single babies cause its two and i have another scan on thrusday to check on the little one. I hope it has grown and is doing ok.
-
Hi mumof5
the bleeding bugger came this morning so i ring the clinic tomorrow and they will book me in for the scan down here.
Hopefully the lining will be smaller and i can start the injections  .
Hi luvchildren the ivf clinic said nothing to me about taken the tubes out i'm going through ballarat ivf.
have a great day ladies
ray:D
-
Looks like I was stressing over nothing, I put in this mornings temp & I got a coverline, so going by that I should have got AF this morning, if I still have a 11 day LP that is. Hmmmmmmm now I stressing over this. LOL.
-
hi ladies
