Hey mumof6......yeah i know.....i have been having AF every 2 weeks and this one has been 3 weeks.....i have been expelling really clots which means my endo has come back.....i know after speaking with monash IVF, they said they would deal with my endo and my dvt, but i don;t want to deal with how much they want for their IVF....lol....i want my ivf journey to start now, but with this bleeding i guess i am also scared that they willsay NOPE, NO WAY.....just me being a big chicken....LOL....cheers kiya

Since Tubes done my period is soooooo painful, like right now, day 1 and I have had hell, it is just getting worse and worse,
I hear medicare????? Tell me more, would love it. I am 28 at the end of the mth and I know things only go down hill with age, thats why would love to start things happening now, then I have got a little time for trying etc. Am sort of, actually no, make that really excited about the thought of being a mum again, and I love being pregnant, besides the morning sickness, but hey, you take the good with the bad....

LOL Minibugz im on day 2 of my period and its heavy painfull and i feel like the lots gunna fall out and ive had the reversal. Your just up the road from Kiya shes at Laidley.

LOL...Em.....i'm on day 3 of my AF and the first 2 days was a nightmare.....i have had no sleep for fear of leaking everywhere....and then my damn friggen cat decided to go feral on my and stick all 4 sets of claws on my face, and i am so sore on my face.....one claw spot was near my eye and it is starting to bruise....DH got the detol out and put it on my face.....Hey Minibugz....you are just up the road from me in a sense......like Mumof6 said i am in Blenheim/Laidley so not far.....look forward to hearing from you......cheers

Hey mumof6......i remember when you would call me and you were still taking your meds for IVF for your little rosebud.....and now she is 8 months old.......geez time sure does fly by doesn't it.......if i have to wait any longer i will just die.....i'm getting closer and closer to 40.....i so want everything to start, but the GP keep dragging things out and i keep bleeding every 2 weeks, so we don;t know anymore what is a AF bleed or a Endo bleed

$hit i hurt today on my face....it is so hot up here and the sweat is getting into the cuts....ouchies...the one near my eye looks like someone hit me....LOL I didn't think i would bruise from a cat clawing, but dh said it could because of the clexane still in my system and i still bruise a little when i knock something....just wrap me in cottonwool and stick a white stick on me and call me a cotton bud....LOL cheers everyone kiya
I found out that TR was covered by medicare in the "Medicare forum"news letter winter 2008 edition.
" Reversal of elective sterilisation under Medicare
Restrictions on sterilisation reversal will be removed to allow Medicare benefits to be paid for this procedure. Currently, Medicare benefits are only available for sterilisation reversal procedures necessitated by clinical need and are not available for fertility restoration".
When: From 1 July 2008.

hi to the to newies.... i had my tubes ligated in 2004 and they were cut and tied. i had the reversal with dr cooper in 2006 and paid $10 but some of that is because i live in north queensland and had to travel to sydney to have the procedure done. I have not been successful in falling pregnant and have had 3 ectopic pregnancies. I have been very fortunate because the ectopic pregnancies i have experienced have been on the ovary and not in the tube. The problem with my tubes is that they are to short.
For the lady who has had the clips, you have a better chance, depending on where they have placed the clips. And for the other, I hope they didn't take as much off your tubes as they did mine.

I have put my HPTs away until Thursday then im going full swing with them
I told my DD today i said Del im craving chocolate and she said hmmm SO,and i said well i went off chocolate with Shaheed so this must mean im having a girl...lol and she said umm you dont even know if it worked yet!....lol
Well im off to work again tommorro,im doing builders cleans so pretty full on i guess,but i will take it as easy as i can.
God you know i still have this B*****Y UTI and im so worried because it seems the docs cant do nothing about it coz iv had antibiotics one after another and it just keeps coming back ahhhh.Im taking canberry tablets and urine tract support tablets but its still there.I dont know what to do.Im going to ask if they can give me a antibiotics that i can use through out the whole pregnancy,i mean what else!

I got a referal to the fertility clinic at westmead for the reversal, I faxed it to them, I wish they would pull their finger out and send me out the damned paperwork.So I can start organising everything.
A question now. I have no idea how private hospital cover works? Does anyone have any info that could help explain this to a sompleton like myself?
heya yesitsyaya.....as far as i know a TL is not covered by private health insurance as like they put it is not a necessary procedure...also to them a TL is a form a of PERMANENT contraceptive, so with that they won;t cover a reversal.....but with that said, some of them cover IVF, BUT, you have show that you legitimately have a problem with conceiving naturally, and that once again does not include the fact that you have your tubes done..... i checked this all out....i'm going to Westmead for my IVF, and they sent me the paperwork within 2-3 days of me calling them and i live in Qld.....i'm starting my IVF hopefully soon, but now it appears i am shopping around for a new GP as, gett his my GP i have had for 5 years and dragged this on for so loooooooooong now, said tome today that he would not give me a referral because #1 i was not going to the IVF clinic they are affiliated with and #2 i am getting closer to 40.....but hello, how long has this $hit been going on for and they have given me all of these excuses under the sun......i'm so pi$$ed off and angry, words can;t describe how i feel right now.....sorry girls.....hope all is well with everyone....cheers kiya
