Ditto what Michelle says....getting your tubes tied will have no benficial effect for the ovaries..the only thing that will stop ovarian cysts or the ovarian issues associated with polycystic ovary syndrome is to remove the ovaries themselves. unfortuantely this will also cause menopause to occur as the presence of the ovaries stimulate the production and release of all those female hormones. My advice is to speak to a specialist in this area and get their advice on what drug treatments are available to help...there are a few things that have been of benefit..ironically a FS is probably your best bet to get some good answers....

Maz what you could be experiencing is adhesions and it sounds susupiciously like them as it can take 6-12 months after a surgery for them to form. It could also be reflux or backflow from your uterus, otherwise known as endometriosis. I have a pain in my gut that I know is an adhesion from when I had my appendix out about 9 yrs ago.....adhesions can occur wherever there has been a cut inside the body and they are not pleasant things at all.
