    Re: Warts

Okay so i did some googling lol
It seems this treatment takes alot longer when it's a plantar wart, but it does work.
So i would try soaking the foot in warm water or ACV for 20ish minutes, then use a pumice stone to gently remove any dead skin.
Put some Vaseline etc around the wart so it protects the skin around the wart & then soak a cotton ball in ACV apply to wart & cover with a band-aid. Replace the cotton ball & band-aid daily.
Do the foot soak/pumice stone every 3-4 days.

Unfortunately it looks like it can take up to 2 months for the plantar wart to drop off but it usually becomes pain free within a couple of weeks

Give them another round of treatment.
Fx it doesn't take as long this time & that they don't come back.

Cheshire-when you say replace the cotton wool ball and bandaid daily, do mean just at night or during the day as well??

    Re: Warts

It says for plantar warts they should be covered all the time.
Some use the cotton wool/band-aid, others use the cotton ball/band-aid at night & just a piece of duct tape etc on the actual wart during the day.

Normal warts only really need to be covered at night & then aired out during the day.
I personally kept my DDs covered all night & morning.
Only taking it off after lunch & then putting it back on after her bath.

    Re: Warts

So, I didn't do anything since last posting, but tonight I was picking at the part that had gone black and it peeled off!
