    Cool What could this be?

For about the last week two fingers on my left hand have been numb on the tips extending down to about the middle of my palm. Not completely numb, just kind of fuzzy.

I've looked it up and it sounds like it could be Carpal Tunnel S but it's my little finger and ring finger of my left hand and I read that CTS usually affects the thumb and index finger. Also i'm right handed so I would have thought I would get CTS in my right hand.

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? I know I should go to the Dr but it's just so hard when the kids are on holidays.

    TIA

Could also be a pinched nerve in your back/shoulder area or elbow. Osteo might be helpful.

With carpel tunnel, you generally have alot of pain. But an osteo would be able to asses this as well.

Trapped nerve was my first thought too.

Ohh I've had this!!! It magically went away when I had my implanon removed. Strange . The doctor said it could have been a coincidence and that at the same time as having the implanon removed, I also was healed from a nerve twisted in my elbow. *shrug*

I get this too CQ, went to the doc who said CTS but I'm not entirely convinced as it's not painful, just annoying! I'm just putting up with it at the moment. Should really see an osteo..

    combat queen.
I have had similar symptoms the past 2 weeks.
i acutally have alternating numbness in both hands.
Swollen in the night and mornings badly that i can feel from my forearm down.

It gets to a point that in the mornings (mostly) it hurts to even pick up a glass and i cannot close my right hand into a fist.

I am not sure what it is. thinking CT but blaming the pregnancy atm. Going to see if things stop after bub is born (i know this circumstance is a little different to you). and hoping bub is just applying pressure to my spine and nerves causing it.

If not then will be seeking alternative therapy for relief in a few weeks!
