    Any thoughts?

A few nights ago I was woken at 3:30 am by what sounded like someone shaking our vertical blinds vigorously. I woke DF thinking someone had broken in and made him go check it out, which he did, no-one was in the house and nothing was missing but the bathroom light was on and the door was closed. DF was the last one in there and swears he definately turned the light off and left the door open.

Any idea's? If it was a spirit (don't know what else it could have been), why would they shake the dining room blinds and leave a light on and door closed, it just seems odd.
Maybe they were just trying to make it's presence known?

That sounds very creepy! Don't know what it could be though. How old is your house? Has anyone close to you passed away who may be trying to let their presence known to you, seeing it's nearly Christmas?

House was bulit in the 70's, I think, so not very old. I have in the past "felt" something nasty in the bedroom and once I saw a school girl - no-one I recognised so must be connected to the house - never anything outside the bedroom. I did feel the "nasty" feeling again just after hearing the blids but I'm not sure if I actually felt it or if it was just because i heard something. ITMS?

Only my Grandpa has passed, that was about 4 years ago and he certainly wouldn't be a "bad" spirit.
