It's not tucked into a pocket/hiding deep in his nappy bag? Or shoved right at the back of his clothes drawers? Have you put any of his little baby clothes away in space bags/containers, maybe it got tangled up in there?

I've quadruple checked the nappy bag, there is one container it could be in but I cant reach it. Last time I remember seeing it was in the car I think, but IDK it's definately not there now...
