I've had really big dreams about snakes in the past. For me they have been about connecting with spirituality around sexual power - not about sex - but about healing the sacral chakra by integrating my masculine and feminine energies, and connecting with my body, and the spiritual/psychic energy that opens up when you're able to do this. In order to do this, I needed to heal some trauma that I was storing in that part of my body.

I'm not sure how that relates to your dream, but I think the symbolism of snake is a very profound/meaningful one, so it might take some letting it settle, and thinking about the feeling/energy in the dream, and what part of your life feels similar in order to identify what your subconscious is speaking about.
