Feathers, birds and corner of the eye moments!

    I have a few questions.....
I have been seeing heaps of feathers lately. I know they mean something, but can't remember what. Does anyone know? I know ther is some sort of significance (sp??) to it! They are all different ones, big small, fluffy, smooth, white, grey....
I have also been seeing heaps of birds, does this mean anything, is it linked to the feathers? What do they mean if they have a significance? I have been seeing more than I usually do in every day life.
My last question is I have been seeing lots of flashes in the corner of my eye. Usually when I'm on my own or when the kids are in bed. I do believe in spirits and the like, so I have no issues with them being around. But I have never been particulary psycic or sensitive to things I don't think, so why would they be around now? I don't really feel anything when they're around, so I don't know. How can I find out if ther is any reason why they're here?

Ok that's all I can think to ask for now! TIA!

Birds typically mean messages. Seeing lots of feathers is a confirmation of this. I think your higher self is becoming aware that Spirit (ie your Guides, angels, whatever you want to call that) is trying to communicate with you. Now is a really good time to go and take that developing-your-intuition class that you've been wanting to do for a long time. I think you will be surprised at how easily the information comes to you. You also need to start asking yourself what your 'big' questions are (ie why am I on the planet, what is the meaning of my life)? And if you feel particularly drawn to a psychic reader or teacher, now is a good time to get that reading, or spend some time with them.

    Good luck!

Oooohh, wow, thanks Marydean! How exciting!
I would like to develop my intuition, but can't afford to pay for anything right now. I have been trying to ask questions of my guides, but have no idea how to 'listen' to the answers. Any tips?

There are some really good books on the topic, you can probably source these (or similar) through your local library or search for the author's websites for more tips:
Angels and Companions in Spirit by Laeh Maggie Garfield and Jack Grant'
Spiritual Growth/Opening to Spirit (or any of the other books) by Sanaya Roman
There are several books including Practical Intuition by Laura Day (very good author & spot on).

In general, it involves learning to hold awareness of what's happening in your body, different people get the information in different ways. Eg one person might meditate on a question and see lights and get info that way, another person might find they have meaningful words come to them at different times. Meditation is a very good start to developing your intuition. HTH

    Hi Lilas,
That sounds really interesting and I agree with Marydean that it sounds like it could be some spiritual force/link. I noticed your post because I am currently reading a very interesting book by Allison DuBois called "we are their heaven-why the dead never leave us". I have found it to be a very fulfilling and thought-provoking read. It describes how spirits can influence our lives in these types of ways. Do you have any loved ones who might be trying to reassure you that they are there with you? Maybe it is something that will come to you later on? I think whatever it is, it is a good sign/force. HTH.

Meditation or daydreaming can be a good way of getting in touch with those parts of yourself too. (and its free! lol)
Try to relax and close your eyes, allow thoughts and images to float around you and try not to react to them, be aware and acknowledge them but dont assign an emotional tag to them....let them enter and exit as they do. By doing this, and becoming good at it, you will allow yourself to see parts of things you never paid attention to before.
The recording of your dreams is also a good way to see if there is something that is needing attention. Keep and pen and paper by the bed and if you wake in the morning or middle of the night, write down the emotions you are feeling, colours, shapes, sounds, smells....anything that is in your head. Dont worry too much about 'trying to remember what happened', simply write down the symbols and energies and images you are left with. Go back to sleep and read it and meditate on those things and what they mean to you when you are awake next. You will be amazed at what you pick up on

    Good luck!
Oh, and what type of birds are they?
