DP's nan was hospitalised on teh 1st but we only found out yesterday.
They are saying it's not 'life threatening' but they have to sort out some of her tablets and things to try and get her back on track.
I still can't shake the feeling that she wont be here much longer, even though everyone says this is fine, just normal, i honestly don't think she will allow herself into permanent care.
Nan is loosing her independance and i honestly think it will kill her, she WILL NOT be coming home to her own home, she is being moved to a nursing home
We are vtaking the girls to see her friday for Miss A's birthday (not 100% on nursing home or hosp yet) so hopefully she is all well and good for a visit.
She hasn't been herself for a while now (although at 89 not sure i'd be so good either) and has been living in her own home until now, i honestly think though once she's in a home she will give up.
She hated going to them for respite let alone have to live in one permenantly, am hoping it's not the case but if it ends her suffering then i guess what needs to be will be.
We were hoping for her to atleast make 90 next year but i guess thats a little selfish, every minute with her is a blessing... let's hope we get quite a few more.
Thanks hun, i'm all good.
DP is really close with his nan, he will be devestated when/if she passes- it's going to be hard to see but we will get through it... more so knowing i have amazing support from lovely ladies like you.
